Service Technician (Full-time/Part-time)

About the Position:

Our service technicians keep the bikes and related equipment in a safe and smooth working condition for our members. Service technicians are expected to be creative in troubleshooting technical issues as they arise, and help develop standardized procedures, to test and implement system-wide.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Bicycle maintenance and repairs

  • Bicycles assembly 

  • Accurate maintenance and bicycle records

  • Keep the shop organized and accessible for the team

  • Continually expand your knowledge base and find new ways of doing things

SKILLS 

For our junior technicians, we are open to candidates who do not necessarily have professional mechanic experience — however, we still expect candidates to be mechanically inclined, be familiar with some basics, and be enthusiastic about learning more. 

  • Ability to prioritize 

  • Able to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment 

  • Detail oriented

  • Basic knowledge of bike components and familiarity with mechanical repairs

  • Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills

Location: West-Toronto
Compensation: $18-22 per hour
